Metabo Drops Review: Coffee Drops With No Label, From the Team Behind Java Burn

Metabo Drops is a liquid you add to coffee, sold with the promise that "Just 1 Drop Delivers: Boosted metabolism, Increased Fat-Burning… Reduced Hunger". The seller names its ingredients (chlorogenic acid, green tea, chromium, L-carnitine, L-theanine and a "vitamin complex") but publishes no supplement facts label. The only doses in circulation come from paid press releases: a 550 mg blend and 20 mcg of chromium per serving. Its affiliate manager and terms of use are the same as Java Burn's, another coffee add-in we have reviewed.

Our Assessment

A drop in your coffee cannot carry the doses that the research used.

The seller does not publish a supplement facts label. Paid press releases describe a 550 mg blend of green tea, green coffee, L-carnitine and L-theanine, plus vitamin D, B6, B12 and 20 mcg of chromium, but the seller does not confirm it. Even if it is right, the doses are small: green coffee trials used about 500 mg of chlorogenic acid alone, L-carnitine trials used grams, and chromium trials used 200 to 1,000 mcg. A Cochrane review found green tea's effect on weight "not likely to be clinically important".

The dosing does not add up. The site says to "Add 1 drop" to your coffee each morning. A 30 mL bottle holds roughly 600 drops, yet two bottles are sold as a "60 Day Supply". A single drop cannot contain a 550 mg blend. The FAQ calls Metabo Drops "scientifically proven to increase both the speed and efficiency of metabolism" and says it is made in an "FDA approved" facility; the FDA does not approve supplement factories.

Metabo Drops shares its affiliate manager, with the same email address, with Java Burn, and its terms of use are almost word for word the same as Java Burn's, down to placing the business in Costa Rica. Its terms still say "not by Liv Pure" and "Copyright © Metabo Drops 2014", leftovers from other products' pages.

What We Liked

  • Ingredient names are listed
  • A "Scientific References" image lists 43 citations
  • 60-day refund, backed by ClickBank

What Gave Us Pause

  • No supplement facts label: the seller gives no doses
  • "1 drop" a day, but a bottle is sold as a 30-day supply
  • Ingredients with evidence were tested at far higher doses
  • Calls itself "scientifically proven"; no trial of the product exists
  • "FDA approved" facility claim
  • Refund terms conflict: "even empty bottles" vs items "returned undamaged"
  • Two landing pages with different packages and prices

Consider It If

  • We cannot name a group of buyers this is a good fit for. If you want one of its ingredients, a single-ingredient product states the dose

Skip It If

  • You expect weight loss from a few drops in your coffee
  • You take diabetes medication (chromium and green coffee may affect blood sugar)
  • You have liver problems (green tea extract has been linked to rare liver injury)
  • You are sensitive to caffeine (green coffee and green tea add some)

Overview

What is Metabo Drops and who sells it?

Metabo Drops is sold on metabodrops.com, registered in August 2025 with the owner hidden, through ClickBank under the vendor account "metabodrop". The site names no company, address or phone number. The terms say it is "created and controlled by Metabo Drops in the country of Costa Rica". Press releases give an address in Durham, North Carolina, at a shopping centre with a UPS Store.

The sales page cites a "November 2025 - New Scientific Discovery": that scientists "uncovered a problem they now call metabolic inequality" and that "up to 80% of Americans may have inherited a slower, less efficient metabolism". No source is given. Testimonials use first names only, such as "Jenny R.", who says she lost 24 pounds.

Ingredient Review

Ingredients named, doses unknown.

The seller names these ingredients without amounts. Press releases claim a 550 mg blend and 20 mcg chromium per serving; we could not confirm that with the seller.

Pricing & Value

Two price lists, and three versions of the guarantee.

On October 4, 2026, the ClickBank landing page offered the packages below. The home page instead showed 2, 4 and 10 bottles at $158, $196 and $290, but its buttons led to the 2, 3 and 6-bottle checkouts. A single bottle at $79 exists in ClickBank's catalogue but is not shown on either page. The FAQ says there is no auto-ship.

The sales pages say: "simply return the product, even empty bottles, anytime within 60 days", minus shipping and handling. The FAQ promises a "no questions asked" refund by email. The terms say "all items must be returned undamaged", return shipping is at your cost, and damaged items are not eligible. ClickBank gives 60 days for "return or replacement". No returns address is published.

Safety & Buyer Notes

Likely low doses, but some interactions are possible.

Without a label, the amounts are unknown. Chromium and green coffee may lower blood sugar, which matters if you take diabetes medication. Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver injury. Green coffee and green tea add some caffeine to your coffee.

The FAQ says "there have been absolutely zero side effects reported". That is not a safety assessment. If you have a medical condition or take medication, ask your doctor first.

  • Diabetes medication: chromium and green coffee may affect blood sugar
  • Green tea extract: rare liver injury
  • Extra caffeine from green coffee and green tea
  • No label, so doses cannot be checked

MixedScam Detector and ScamAdviser

Much of the coverage is paid press releases, even though the seller's own affiliate rules forbid them. They are the only source for the product's doses.

Our read: There is no independent evidence that Metabo Drops causes weight loss.

Limits of This Review

What we could not verify

This review is desk research. We have not bought or tested Metabo Drops. We checked the seller's pages, the ClickBank checkout, javaburn.com, domain records, Trustpilot, Scam Detector, ScamAdviser, press releases and the published research on October 4, 2026.

  • What the label on the bottle says. The seller does not publish it.
  • Who presents the sales video.
  • Which company owns the brand. The terms name only Metabo Drops in Costa Rica.
  • Upsell offers after checkout.
  • Whether the product has helped anyone. We found no controlled study of Metabo Drops itself.

FAQ

Common questions about Metabo Drops.

Does Metabo Drops work?

There is no study of Metabo Drops. Its ingredients with any weight loss evidence were tested at doses far higher than a few drops or a 550 mg blend can contain, and the effects in those trials were small.

What are the doses in Metabo Drops?

The seller does not publish them. Paid press releases describe a 550 mg blend with 20 mcg of chromium per serving, but the seller does not confirm it.

Is Metabo Drops related to Java Burn?

Both sites list the same affiliate manager with the same email address, and their terms of use are almost identical, including placing the business in Costa Rica. That points to the same team.

Is there a refund?

The sales pages promise 60 days, even for empty bottles, minus shipping and handling. The terms say items must be returned undamaged at your cost. ClickBank gives 60 days for return or replacement. Keep your order number.

Bottom Line

No label and a dose that does not add up. Avoid it.

Metabo Drops asks you to trust a few drops of an unlabelled liquid to change your metabolism. The ingredients it names have, at best, small effects at much higher doses.

If you want to try green coffee or L-carnitine, single-ingredient products state their doses. For weight loss, changes to diet and activity have the strongest evidence.

Alternatives

Single ingredients, with what the evidence says.
