Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do.

Who runs this site

Health Research Group is operated by Digipeak Media, which is responsible for the data described in this policy. You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect

This site uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that runs for every visitor. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records anonymized, aggregate page view data — which pages are visited, clicks on product links, and approximate geographic region — so we can understand what content is useful. No IP addresses are stored.

With your consent where it is required (see Cookies below), we also use Google Analytics 4 and Klyqq, which set cookies. They are described under Cookies and Third-party services.

We do not operate a newsletter, email list, or user account system. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the merchant (typically ClickBank or a direct affiliate program). The price you pay is not affected by this.

Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a third-party website. That website has its own privacy policy and data practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you purchase from.

Cookies

Umami Analytics operates without cookies by design. Two optional tools do set cookies: Google Analytics 4, which sets Google cookies (such as _ga) to measure how readers use the site, and Klyqq, which sets a first-party cookie on this domain, lasting up to 2 years, to attribute clicks on product links to the page that led to them.

If you visit from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland (judged from the country of your IP address or from your device's time zone), Google Analytics and Klyqq stay off until you accept them in the cookie banner. Everywhere else they are on by default, and that default is not stored: you can turn them off at any time.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as declining, and Google Analytics and Klyqq stay off unless you accept them yourself. A choice you make in the cookie banner always takes precedence.

Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time with the round cookie button in the bottom-left corner of every page or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Declining stops both tools and removes their cookies (such as _ga, _gid and klyqq_*) from the next page load, and the site works exactly the same either way. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage.

To apply these rules, our hosting sets two short-lived, strictly necessary cookies that last one day: visitor_region, which records only whether you are browsing from Europe, and visitor_gpc, which records whether your browser sends GPC. They contain no identifier.

If you click an affiliate link, the merchant's website may set cookies to track your session for commission attribution. That is governed by the merchant's own cookie and privacy policy.

Third-party services

Umami Analytics: cookieless page view analytics, hosted by us. Privacy-by-design, no PII collected. See umami.is for how the software works.

Google Analytics 4 (only with consent where required): usage analytics that sets Google cookies and sends usage data to Google, which processes it under Google's privacy policy.

Klyqq (only with consent where required): click attribution for product links, using a first-party cookie that lasts up to 2 years.

Google Fonts: we load the Inter and Manrope typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Vercel: this site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect server-side request logs (IP address, user agent) as part of standard web hosting infrastructure. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you enter and use them only to reply. They are delivered by email through our own form service, Backend Forms, are not added to any list, and are not shared.

To keep the form free of spam, the contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is submitting it. It runs on that page only and is used for that check and nothing else.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Apart from messages sent through the contact form, we do not hold personal data that identifies you. You can ask us to provide or delete a message you sent us. For data collected by a third-party service listed above, such as Google Analytics, you can also contact that service directly, and you can withdraw consent at any time through "Cookie settings".

Residents of the European Union, California, and other jurisdictions with applicable data rights may contact us if they have specific concerns. We will respond to reasonable requests within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
